Can the weekend really be here already? Luckily I have a long one…but unlucky that 1/2 of it will consist of a few doctor visits and only consuming clear liquids for 2 days. And it’s not for a cleanse. I officially lost 10 pounds without doing anything other than eating healthy. I also cut out alcohol, caffeine, soda and fried foods. It really feels amazing to be on the right track.
Yesterday I posted the start to my Travel Diaries which will have a whole bunch of different topics including personal trips that I have planned starting this summer. First adventure is our flight to Boston and then driving up the east coast to Bar Harbor. My parents have been all over Maine so I am pretty excited to get some pointers from them. I plan on eating lots of lobster and doing a lot of sightseeing. Our first stop is in Kennebunk where I booked the top floor at this gorgeous bed and breakfast. I secretly fell in love with the name first, Inn at English Meadows. Their breakfast is supposed to be newsworthy and being the biggest eggs and benedict lover I couldn’t resist.
Lately I have been thinking of creative ways to eat more unprocessed foods and came across the blog Love and Lemons. The photos are enough to make you spend all day scrolling thru recipes. The bright green Spring salad is something on my “to-make” list.
