Over the weekend..

+I took my boyfriend on a dinner date to Cafe Spiaggia. It’s right across from The Drake. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. It’s so small & dark & intimate. We ordered the polpette & caprese for our appetizer. For our main course we had the gnocchi with wild boar ragu. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once!

+Went to a pumpkin farm that was more like a carnival. I was so excited to check pumpkin picking off my ‘Fall To Do’ list but ultimately decided to leave it on. Let me just say, never go to Goebbert’s. They pack the place like sardines, use poor animals as ride attractions & price everything unbelievably high.This week we are trying it again by going to a teeny tiny pumpkin farm in the city where the only attraction is a toothless man who lives in a trailer selling pumpkins.

+Scored an amazing blogger for my first series called ‘Short List’ on Wednesdays. She has worked with HARPO, NBC, and E! Entertainment.  Make sure to come back & see who it is! Since I am still new to this blogging thing I was nervous reach out & more nervous to hear NO but then I told myself “What’s the worst that can happen?” They say no. Is that really all that bad? It just makes me try that much harder.

+Found this bookshelf at Crate n Barrel for our den aka ‘The Nook’. Perfect size & the white will look awesome against the dark slate grey walls.

+Fell in love with this quote & decided to make these delicious cocktails for the crafting party this Thursday!
