I decided to skip the typical blog post of “Who wore it best” because frankly we’ve seen it, heard it, read it a million times by now. Instead I would like to focus on just one amazing dress I spotted on Julianne Moore. Already a lover of Tom Ford (especially his genius crafted sunnies I wear religiously) I could’t help but get inspired when I saw this super simple but ever so bold dress. With so much color on the red carpet the black and white modern frock just stood out like a beautiful sore thumb. This black & white trend for Spring is something I embrace. I know, I know, all you people who say you loooove color and are sick of all this neutral crap splattered all over our web are probably ready to protest. The best part of this trend is that it looks très sexy with pops of color here and there like Julianne Moore’s emerald ring. Maybe I can get away with my dull choices of color after all!
I LOVED her outfit at the globes. that open back is what made it. and she pulled it off so well considering her age. I def noticed a lot of black and white (and all white attires). can’t wait to see if this carries into the oscars.
